The best explanation I've seen for that it is due to "ackerman" effect not being perfect for scrub. To get the best performance the tyres will operate with a level of slip as this is when they deliver maximum grip so on performance cars the manufacturer will often sacrifice tyre wear for steering performance and grip.

It is more obvious when cold as the grip level of summer rubber drops significantly so rather than causing a jacking effect on the axle the tyre slips and you get the judder sensation.

You've probably got 20s or 21s?? It's normal.

I've had both 20 and 21s and never experienced the anti-ackerman effect. Nor have I experienced it on the half-dozen or more other Macans I've driven... so not sure how normal it is.

And to OP, no transfer box issues on either my '14 registered or '16 registered cars. approx 15k and 9.5k miles respectively.
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR
