We all know that the rearview camera on the old model was useless in the wet as it got really dirty. Apparently the new version on the Macan 2 is much better. According to some chap on the Porsche Club forum says that due to the new rear light bar and the aerodynamics caused, it keeps it much cleaner and what's more there is now a washer jet for the camera that activates when you wash wipe the rear window.
Have any of you out there with a new Macan experience of this?

Slightly off OP, but two demo Macans I drove had a lazy rear camera switch, where rear camera display stayed on for 5-10 sec, after reversing and during driving forward. Is that normal for most Macans?
My Beemer switches to SatNav or other display as soon as gear knob is out of Reverse position.

Mine stays on for a few seconds (I think it’s on until x mph rather than time?) - helps parking in bays as you can see where the back of the car is whilst moving forward.

Very unscientific, but this afternoon I checked and, after selecting reverse, backing up, and subsequently driving forwards, the camera screen switches off at + 10 mph.....not time dependant.

Not undocumented, it's in the manual.
Closing the ParkAssist display
The display is closed again as soon as you
– disengage reverse gear (after 30 seconds or a speed > 10 mph),
– operate the electric parking brake,
– bring the PDK selector lever into the P position,
– press one of the main menu buttons, or
– Press the Back button .
In the last two cases you can press the button to return to the display.
