Not sure if the PDK has to "learn how to coast".
After my last software update it would only coast in 6th and 7th gear but now 5th gear is also available.
All very strange ........
How 2 Coast 2 Coast
Coast can be induced by changing up - sometimes needs two quick flicks of the right paddle.
Quite often I can induce it at quite low speed and low gears eg drifting down an incline in urban traffic.
Ed. Can even induce in 4th, sometimes 3rd.
When changing up from a low gear - say whilst cruising at low speed the box will recognise that you want cruise and not engage the higher gear.
Like many things Macan it appears to learn.

Our SD is approaching 60k on its original all season tyres. I really can't believe it!SilverTurfer wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 12:59 pm
Still on the original all condition tires with with plenty of meat on them.
I must be driving too slow.

I generally just quickly switch the auto start/stop off and back on, when not depressing the accelerator, and I'll be in coast... Useful when I think it should be coasting, and seems to go into coast on steeper downslopes.
