If your car is low on Adblue it will take most if not all of the 20L. Mind you that would mean that the car had not been topped up before it was sold to you.
Good point thank you. Still no more warnings so I am inclined to belive it isn't low but who knows!!!

I had the same problem with my 2017 macan. I did a stage 1 ecu upgrade on the car and for 5 months it worked fine. First it showed the check engine sign and a couple hours later it showed the adblue fault. I had about 5 liters of adblue in the trunk and filled it. The adblue fault went away. It showed back after a couple of days. Did another refill this time with 10 liters and it took all. Than i started wondering if its leaking somwwhere. Luckily a friend of mine owns a garage shop close to my house so i send the car there and told him i think Adblue must be leaking somewhere. And i was right. There was a leak in the tubes that connect with the engine. It turns out rats like the smell and the chewed through the tube.no cost for me since nothing else was damaged. Removed the check engine sign and resseted the ad blue faults. Everything works fine now

I'd recommend getting a rat trap if the local rodent population see your AdBlue pipes as a source of food.

• 2014 Macan S, 30k Mi - 1500mi Adblue warning.
• So I filled up 10 litres. Switched on ignition and waited 30 sec. Light goes off.
• After 3 days, Adblue warning 550mi light followed by yellow engine management light, I keep driving for 3 more days.
• I then fill up diesel and Hey Presto!!! both lights go off.
• 2 days later, engine management light comes on again.
• Book it into PC. they charge £210.00 to check fault.... they respond possible Adblue Pressure Fault ' Fault Cleared and Returns with Ignition Cycle'. Need further tests.
• Thats where Iam now.... has anyone experienced or sorted this issue?
• could it be the Adblue Pressure Sensor?

Yes and maybe! Read the whole thread - you will see that at least two of us have had similar symptoms, initially diagnosed as a faulty adblue pressure sensor but turned out to be a faulty adblue pump. Prices are also mentioned earlier in the thread, if you are out of warranty.

Thanks buddy! can't believe Porsche are not able to identify this. Iam speaking to an independent Porsche specialist now, they seem to know its a common fault.

Very sensible going to an independent, especially as they sound confident (unlike the OPC) - please come back and let us know how you get on!

Are you sure you have put enough AdBlue in? Once the light comes on mine took almost 20L. It may be worth adding some more.

Thanks! will try a full top up and let you know how it goes. You right! it drives prefect even with the warning lights.....best to try full top up before committing to the big garage expense. Thank you guys. Will keep you posted!

Having been through this saga myself (I started this thread), let me give you a few pointers.
There is a specific "Low AdBlue" warning and it says just that.
If you had the same warning as me then part of the message said "no engine start after 550 miles".
If you've found an independent that knows this fault use them. In both Guy's case and mine the initial fault was wrongly diagnosed as a pressure sensor fault. The problem with modern cars is that most technicians just fault diagnose by laptop. If the computer doesn't recognise the fault then they are up the proverbial creek minus paddle.
