If you want the mirror to return to its normal position from dipped, press the driver's side mirror button on the door handle - the button that would select the driver's mirror to adjust it. It will bring the dipped passenger door mirror back up.

Thanks for these tips!! I was getting so annoyed with the dipped lights because I couldn't see what I wanted, I have now adjusted them and saved it to the key and it works brilliantly.

Woohoo!

I don't have memory function on my MY17 GTS. Is there any way to have the mirrors auto dip on reverse?

Can you adjust the 'amount' of mirror dip on reverse?

The only way I have found to adjust it is by having one of the memory settings on the seats based on my normal settings but with full dip on the wing mirror. Then all i have to do is press the other memory setting to get it back to where it should be. This is easier than manually dipping it and finding the right position again. This assumes lack of surround cameras which gives you an alternative kerb view

That's a good tip - my only option regret was not specifying surround view ... I'm paranoid about scuffing the alloys.

Yes....when reverse is selected, adjust the amount of mirror dip you require, using the mirror adjustment control then, when you’re happy with the position, press ‘set’ and then ‘1’ on the door card, which will save the position to your personal memory settings.

If you have another regular driver of the car, they can adjust the mirror to their requirements, and they can then save this position by pressing ‘set’ then ‘2’ on the door card.

Good man, that's probably justified several wasted hours forum trawling!
