Headlight crazing 718
NO problems with my 911 (18 plate) headlights and i use washmitts and snowfoam / power wash with a vari Lance , I do turn the pressure down on all the bodywork using it as basically a strong flow of water and turn it up to do under the wheel arches and wheels/ tyres .

I played it safe by getting a fairly cheap & low-powered Karcher pressure washer!
When you turn up the pressure on the wheels, try & avoid the centre wheel caps, as I understand that use of pressure washers on them can cause/worsen the 'corroded' effect that many seem to suffer from.

Thanks for the heads up WC you still go the T !!!!
I should have said I Just turn up the pressure to get the wheel arches and brake discs clean.
Just reading on the AMG A35 FB pages , lots of owners are getting stuck on brakes after the discs have got wet !!!!!!! MB have not found a solution yet,
one guy wrote they took the wheels and calipers off then hammer'ed the disc pads off.

^^^ Yep, still got the T! Have had it for over a year and eight months now! With over 24,500 miles on the clock! Loving it!
My brakes sometimes ‘stick’ a little initially if we’ve had wet weather and I haven’t used the car for a few days. (It lives outside.)
Just noticed that I picked up my 911 just 8 days before you!

Hi Simon,
24,500 !!!!! we are just coming up to 9000 !!!!! but we are retired LOL !!!!!
May be comimg back to the Macan GTS fold, just asked my OPC what its quantities were for next year, looking around Sept 2020.
Did have a strange problem with the 911, a stone got into the cooling fan behind the front nearside wheel and sounded terrible until it jammed the fan. Not covered under warranty but while i waited my OPC took the wheel off and the inner wheel arch and removed the stone, no charge !!!!

Hi Spook,
That was a great service from your OPC!
So might the Macan GTS replace the 911...?
Cheers,
Simon
P.S. Just noticed that was your post number 911!
