Macan s, 3 months old, 2,500 miles . . . . occasionally (about 1 in 4) when I get home, stop, park, switch off ignition, the car goes through 30 seconds of a groaning / ticking / clicking noise - what is that?

Clue? I have air suspension?

Thanks - no I know that noise. that's common to all cars, and I sometimes get that but also I am occasionally getting a much louder 'groaning' than the cooling down noise

Maybe the car is just yanking your chain seeing as though you seem to get hung up on every squeak its made since your purchase!

Air suspension will often reset the levels after switching the car off.

I get the same noise, more a whirring than groaning but yes assumed it was the air suspension
