Just had my 3yr old 33k miles SD in for an "Engine Control Fault" warning light sorting and the technician noticed the AdBlue leak (pic below) from the injector pipe at the top/back/middle of the engine by the the bulkhead. In my case although the AdBlue had crystalized on coming into contact with air - fortunately the AdBlue flow within the pipe didn't seem to have been blocked.

Told they've had a few of these and fix is covered by warranty. Booked in for pipe fix tomorrow and apparently you also get a full AdBlue top up as part of work !

All sorted today with new pipe fitted under warranty. Technician mentioned a few of these pipe splits had happened with worst ones showering engine bay with AdBlue!!

Could be worth SD owners having a cursory glance if they have the bonnet open for any reason.

Had exactly the same thing happen to my SD Macan a month ago. My AdBlue leak was far worse though. It was all over the engine.

Only noticed it as I admiringly opened the bonnet to see white crap everywhere!

All done and fixed under warranty and had a nippy BMW M3 Diesel as a courtesy car. Good fun but far too low down and plasticy for me ;)

Yep. I had this exact thing at about 25k miles/2 years. I think it’s an “o” ring issue. Fixed under warranty, and they did refill the Adblu. I’m keeping my eye on it though.
