In my previous BMW & Mercedes I used a hard drive to store music. The one i was using conked out so my IT guy replaced it with a Western Digital My Passport Portable SSD 512 GB. It is a replica in terms of data, but my Macan won’t read it whereas the old one was fine.
Has anyone got any clues ?

Perhaps the new hard drive has been formatted to use the wrong file system. The older PCMs require FAT16 or 32, but I am not sure about latest model. What does the handbook say?

EDIT: Here's the latest requirements - maybe show this to your IT guy?
