Does it have to be Porsche brand? How about the G40 European formula?

My understanding is that the VW and Audi G40 is the same liquid

G40 is equivalent to G12 ++

My coolant cap states G13, hence that's what I bought for mine, from VW.

By the looks of that article, G40 ie G12++ is an improved better-performing version of G12+ which is itself an improved better-performing version of G12. Does anyone know what was shown on the last Macan SD 's imported in 2017? Certainly, if that had moved on to G12+ or G40 I would have no hesitation in using the more modern fluid
