Hi Folks

Anybody else have this issue?
Have only ever used non-acidic/PH neutral cleaner. You can see that the issue is in the wheel bolt recesses which have been very thinly factory painted and it looks like the lacquer is starting to peel back. Wheels have not been repaired and I have had the Macan since new.

Has the car been serviced / wheels off? It is thin and a wheel gun with a socket that rubs can do that in one go....

I suppose it is possible that a wheel gun put a 'nick' in the laquer and over time moisture is getting under lacquer to create the peeling effect. It is gradually getting bigger with cleaning. Guess I could leave the wheels dirty!?

Just went out to check mine - 4 1/2 years old. I've only ever used Autoglym wheel cleaner/protector. Had to wipe the dirt off, but no sign of any peeling.
