Hi Folks
Anybody else have this issue?
Have only ever used non-acidic/PH neutral cleaner. You can see that the issue is in the wheel bolt recesses which have been very thinly factory painted and it looks like the lacquer is starting to peel back. Wheels have not been repaired and I have had the Macan since new.

Has the car been serviced / wheels off? It is thin and a wheel gun with a socket that rubs can do that in one go....
Macan GTS: PH1UFLL8
I suppose it is possible that a wheel gun put a 'nick' in the laquer and over time moisture is getting under lacquer to create the peeling effect. It is gradually getting bigger with cleaning. Guess I could leave the wheels dirty!?CharlesElliott wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 2:00 pm Has the car been serviced / wheels off?
