Dears,
this is my first post here, I am very pleased to welcome you :)
I wanted to ask if any of you tried to mount an electric towbar for Macan? After assembly and coding, my hook opens only partially and the buttons flash yellow. I will be grateful for your help.

Thanks a lot

These instructions should help
https://www.pfjones.co.uk/westfalia_fit ... 300113.pdf

But on second thoughts you are concerned re the deployment these only cover the siring for the socket. Have you tried helping the bar extend it could be that its just stiff.

Thanks a lot for instructions - I used it, but as you said it's only for the socket without all plugins for electric tow bar.
I've bought second tow bar and it's also not working properly - so problem might be:
1)connections of whole electric installation
2)programming
3)Controle module

Could you please confirm that number of module is 4H0907383N?

Maybe anyone who has tow bar could sent photos?

There may be useful information in the service manual, available in the first post here: https://www.macanforum.com/threads/2015 ... al.166822/

Search for 'hitch' - the circuit diagrams are towards the end of the manual.

Yes denifitely I used it...

https://www.macanforum.com/threads/oem- ... 81&slide=1 here is photo.

I know where I should connect black (big) and red socket. You can see there also 2 small black sockets and 2 free pins. Could you tell me where it should be connected? I don't know how to read electric diagrams, as you can see :)

Thoes 4 cables (in which 2 with strange sockets) are not connected... maybe this is an issue?

Yesterday I spent half a night checking the entire electrical installation. All cables are connected well, except for the 4 pincs from the picture above. Additionally, PIN 6 in the towbar button is red / yel and should be yel / wht according to the scheme. Can you help and take a picture of the button pins and connection of those 4 pins? I believe that together we will manage;)

Do these help? That single yellow / red wire with the pin looks like it might go into the black connector in the middle of the third picture - if that pin is missing on your car.

Unfortunetely I cant see here this wire.

https://www.macanforum.com/threads/oem- ... 81&slide=1

I mean 4 cable - left side of the photo. 2 pins without socket and 2 with strange sockets. Those wires going from towbar button.
Do you know what I'm talking about ?:) Maybe I'm not so clear.

The wiring to my button looks completely different because I have air suspension.

The from the switch is bundled into a much larger loom so you cannot easily see where the button wires lead.

Can you take a decent picture of your loom that actually shows the wiring colours? The wires are on top of each other so you can't actually see what colour wires are in each connector.
