Its definitely a 3.0 litre V6 petrol, not normally short runs, 30 miles per day on dual carriageway around 75 MPH, less than half mile from dual carriageway to home.
car has been sitting on my driveway for most of the last 4-5 weeks, engine not running until I had to go shopping the other day, therefore cannot see why the oil would be diluted by fuel.
Question is, does the oil need to be changed or not?

Have you ever been asked to add a litre? That happened to mine at about 8750 miles. what is current oil level?

I would add that when vw/audi used to run two service regimes, the use you are describing would have placed a car within the lower use regime with 12 monthly or 10000 miles oil changes. The car is probably fully warm for about half its mileage. To be on the longer less mileage frequent change regime you would typically have lots of 100 mile plus trips.

As promised when I give mine it's weekly run tomorrow I will look to see how 5 weeks of shorter runs has impacted the forecast mileage for 1st oil change.

As promised, I looked at the predicted time to first oil change on My 2019 S. at present mileage 9800 and saying 9500 to first oil service. I think in the last month this may have come down more than mileage of 130 I have actual done in 5 short 20 or 30 mile runs, but not by much more.

There you go, not far short of 20000 mls to first oil change, I think 5000 mls for an oil change in a Ferrari would be acceptable but not in a Porsche Macan with an Audi V6 engine.

I would think an oil change at 5k isnt quite right no matter how is driven unless time limited.

^^^ Although some folks, both in UK and US, choose to change the oil voluntarily, much sooner than 20k miles or two years... 🤔 🤓

Can anyone explain to me what the various service intervals are? For example in the photo above what type of service is Interval 1?

Perfect thank you but I am not sure that makes sense unless I am missing something.

I have S1 in 11K, S2 in 15K and S3 in 17K

It can't need 3 services in 6K miles can it? (I do 17K a year)
