So, if the adblue tank is 23lts, surely on a petrol car there could be a 90 or 100 litre fuel tank?

I was quoted £70 to top up the AdBlue tank - which is why I will be buying a couple of 10L tanks to do it
Look out for discount codes with Eurocarparts. Paid less than £10 for 10 litres.

I would say that my Macan uses roughly 1litre per 1000 miles. That's just a rough calculation based on what I've put in from new, including an estimate of what was in it when I got the car. Now coming up to 20000 miles.

Good info. Not sure if type of driving will affect the consumption - motorway / short journeys.
I will top up in the next couple of months and try to estimate consumption.

I would be a bit wary of buying the Eurocarparts adblue now, I used their stuff on my previous car,
a 2011 Q5 It cost me 1000's as the adblue nozzle injector and the catalyst got completely buggered by the adblue crystillizing.
I may have been unlucky, but once bitten twice shy etc:
Apparently this stuff has to be carefully stored and has a shelf life ?

If you're not a high mileage driver up to 23 litres of adblue could be sitting in the tank for a long time. I don't see iso numbers making any difference if it is sitting in a plastic tank in your garage or sitting in a plastic tank in your car.

If it is correctly labelled with the right ISO what more can you do?SB
My thinking is, If you get Porsche to do it, hopefully you'd have some come back if it goes tits up.

It definitely has a shelf life which will be printed on the container wherever you buy it, even more critical if you open the sealed container and don't use it all in one go. That's when you can get crystals forming.
