Should be glad Porsche have a service schedule for it, some manufacturers insist a transmission is sealed for life like they do with diffs and transfer units :shock:
I'd agree, usually think about pdk changes at half recommended mileage, there's a lot of slipping going on unless you do all motorway driving.

Too many manufacturers try to extend services to make ownership look cheap and don't mind if you have to buy a new car later on.

Condensation can be a killer as the adhesives for some friction materials hate moisture.
