So the BMW one fits but it does rattle around a bit, the Porsche hole is longer.

Thanks for the note, NickLooks like a combination of recommendations and a phone call and the item mentioned at Design911 is what is needed (and has indeed been ordered!).CheersSteve
I have ordered one for my Cayenne, which has a standard Porsche jacking mount that looks exactly the same as the Macan.

Sadly I got no response here, so I ordered one up anyway. Clearly doesn't fit. I have looked under a Cayman and they have a very different fitting. From the above thread, it looks like the Cayenne has the same fitting. Is there really no adapter? Can anyone advise?
I am about to google around to see if there is a Cayenne forum...
I'm investigating this subject too - but I wanted to also put Axle stands under so I can leave the wheels off for a few hours whilst I fully cleaned and put some GTechniq coating on them. I asked the service guys when I collected and was clearly told not to use stands because the underneath is aluminium and not designed for them. Jack points only (and hence if leaving up for any length a 4 point lift).
I will soon be having my wheels off to coat them but only using the supplied jack :-(

Can't you just use a trolley jack and put a piece of wood in between?
I'm not comfortable using bits of wood to prop my Porsche up! The sill is all plastic and I am not a risk taker.

I used a piece of wood the size of the jacking point with a trolley jack - worked just fine.
With a previous car - a Saab convertible - I shaped a piece of hardwood to fit the jacking point and even glued on a piece of hard rubber.
