Quite a few thread on that but wanted to report that i have it too on my SD. Thought i had heard before since i had the car but never focused on it and it is very faint and not really an issue.
It only happens when you pass 10mph in 1st gear. If the pdk is on 2nd, you slow down to 5mph , stay on 2nd and pass 10mph, it will NOT "click". Also that noise is nearly at the same time as gear changing from 1 to 2 so it could just be that...

Stick it in manual and you will find that it does it even if you hold it in 1st gear. The click is only "reset" when you come to a complete halt so the slowing down test doesn't work I think.

I'll try the manual test. I'll try to pass 10mph on 2nd on manual from halt, see what happens...

Hate to bump an old thread, but I've got the same issue here on my MY17 Macan Base 2.0 here in the U.S. Happens as the speedometer moves from 9 to 10 mph.

Did anyone get a resolution?

Welcome, redcat255! Thumbs Up
I no longer have my Macan 2.0, but hopefully someone will respond to your query.
Nothing to do with the central locking I suppose, that locks the doors once a certain speed is reached...?

Thank you!

I don't think it's central locking. That kicks in around 5 mph I've noticed. This also happens every time I stop the vehicle and start moving again, whereas the central locking only happens the first time after putting the car in D.

Not a big issue, but curious to see if others have found anything to resolve it. Otherwise I'll mention at my first service!

I believe it's normal? I only noticed this after reading another thread but it just happens to my petrol S when the engine is cold from 1st to 2nd (only the once though) then goes away as engine warms.

I have a similar thing in my Audi's for years. Never been a problem but again noticed it.
Does anyone get any feedback when this happens through the pedal?
Not noticed it in the Macan yet.

No. It's just an ever so subtle click.

It's vaguely reminiscent of the sound I used to hear on my old Lexus RX. That vehicle had a button that would let you lock full-time four wheel drive (as opposed to the standard front-wheel drive with computer-controlled all wheel drive as needed) at speeds under 25 mph. Once you passed exactly 25 mph, the four wheel drive would release and there would be a similar clicking sound.

Is there anything parallel that could be happening here at 10 mph?
