How do you get the speed limit indicator to appear in the multi function display?

You can't. You would have needed to spec Speed Limit Indicator for your car.

It's on the map screen of the nav though.

Whilst I love the idea of a GTS, I only get 22-24 MPG around London in my SD. Who knows what it would be in the GTS!? It does sound good though ........

Pootling around London in my Turbo I average 22.2 (according to Fuelly).

That sounds good based on what I'm getting in my SD. To be fair though, my London journeys are often short & engine not even always up to full temp. Not ideal use for a diesel really!

Not great for petrol either, but almost all my recent journeys have been pootling, but I do generally have it in sport mode, short shift and try to get boost up, so the engine doesn't die of boredom :)

25 mpg avg from my former Macan S petrol.. 32 mpg avg from my new Cayenne SD after just 800 miles.. not brilliant (live in a rural area), but I'm impressed so far, and it should get better. thank god for a 100L fuel tank.. MPG not the most important thing to me, I'm just impressed you can get that from a 4.2 V8 TDI... and it sounds fantastic!

Is it the same V8 TDI that is in the new Panamera??

It is a beast - lovely engine.

No, the panamera has a new 4.0L, the current Cayenne SD which I have uses an older 4.2L V8 and has less power at 385bhp and less torque.

I think this is the best I'll ever see on my SD. Heavy traffic on duals and A roads, many miles at 50 on the M1. My S is on order, after 7 diesels, range anxiety will be a new feeling.?

You said 300 miles range and 6000 rpm in virtually the same sentence there Paul. LOL

....grant you it sounded very good as your missus disappeared down the road in it last Sunday.
