Hi all,
First post and a relatively new owner. So a failing transfer box made itself known not long after collecting the car. Was diagnosed and replaced under warranty without too much difficulty. I've had the car back a week or so now and it's not driving well. Feels intermittently sluggish, even in sport, doesn't accelerate smoothly from standstill as if the accelerator is being feathered (different to the pre box replacement symptoms) . Generally just not right.
Needless to say it's going back in however I was wondering if anybody else has had any similar issues on the back of having their transfer box replaced.
Thanks, Andy

Andy,
To save you searching, the PDK reset procedure is apparently as follows:
1. Turn on the engine, turn off A/C (and any other consumer like PCM, etc.) and let the engine run for 3 minutes.
2. Turn on A/C and wait another 3 minutes.
3. Turn off engine, remove the key, close the car and wait one minute.
4. Restart car and PDK is now reset to factory default.
It was mentioned in this forum a couple of years back. I stored it but haven't used it.
I hope it helps - if not, go back to the OPC
Guy
Thanks for the replies.
Hadn't actually heard of it so hadn't tried it. I'll admit to being a bit sceptical but found the forum topic on it and saw that it surprised a few others in that it actually worked.
Anyway, gave it a go and it seems to have worked. Car is transformed.
Thanks again...

Reading those steps, it does sound like a joke.

Perhaps it does not make any difference if the car has a keyless entry. Just switch off the ignition and lock the car in step number 3?Col M wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 3:46 pmHaven't found how to convert them for keyless entrySemerka wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 3:22 pmReally, wow, that's a brilliant result.andyf wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 4:38 pm Thanks for the replies.
