I noticed this as soon as I got the car home, have been wondering what if anything could be done to improve the fit. The drivers side, where it meets the front door is not only proud by a noticeable amount but has a significant gap. If the rh side is 'pulled' in, surely the lh side would move out a bit. The other side has a similar gap but at least it's flush. Could this be adjusted if I bothered driving 80 miles to my nearest OPC?

There is a campaign for the Macans front bonnet to be adjusted so just book it in with your OPC and have a different Porsche for the day jonmacan2017-04-19 19:52:15

.............................if I bothered driving 80 miles to my nearest OPC?

You are driving a Macan, 80 miles there and back should be joyous and even stretched to go the long way just for the hell of it

Just confirms that on collecting you need to have a really good check on everything to avoid the inconvenience of returning to the OPC for warranty work.

I think I'll wait a bit, get some miles on it, I'm off an an 1800 mile trip in a few weeks time, and there may be other issues to resolve. Yes of course I'll 'enjoy' the drive, 80 each way to either Cambridge (A14) or Colchester (A140) both unpleasant roads. If they keep the car and lend me a 2 seater or a RED PANAMERA, the A14 might be more tolerable, but they'll probably do it while I wait. I'll speak to Cambridge today.

You are right of course, I even stayed locally overnight so I could check the car over, but missed this (in the rain!).Bigboyrolo2017-04-20 07:04:25

It is shocking that Porsche lets cars out of the plant like this. My daughter who works with CEVT a Geely/Volvo engineering company in Gothenburg gave me a had time the other week. She said this would never had been accepted at VOLVO or Lynk&co.
