^ Me too.

But it's not just very high performance engines that benefit. Surprisingly, both my wife and I immediately noticed a difference when we first put V-Power in our 170bhp diesel Yeti. It was smoother and quieter.

V-Power has more cleaning additives than regular fuel so it can restore some efficiency in older engines and can help avoid some of the breakdowns that have occurred in engines that are susceptible to poorer quality fuels, ie supermarket petrol and diesel which have less additives.

I don't have the data to analyse the extra mileage against the extra cost, but many others have commented that the cost was offset, but admittedly that was probably when the difference was smaller.

I use V-Power 75% of the time but have the occasional fill of Sainsbury’s super plus. Interestingly I get 10-15% better fuel economy out of the Sainsbury’s fuel

'BP Ultimate Diesel with ACTIVE technology' used mainly, but always premium diesel in the Macan.

Used standard diesel in all previous Mercedes diesels with no apparent harm. But the the Macan runs smoother and seems to deliver better mpg on the premium stuff. Also no dpf / active regen issues so far......tempting fate I know!

Here's the latest long distance result at an average of 61.5 mph in daytime traffic.

V Power for me.

Can't see the point on spending all that money on a decent car with a decent engine and then filling it with shite.

Then again, diesel owners fill theirs with pig piss, and that's recommended, so who knows

I wasn’t expecting anything close to this from my new 2017 Panamera (petrol RWD) but was happily surprised on a run down the m40 to Heathrow on Monday morning. That was with me having a little fun on the way. Not sure what fuel it has as the OPC filled it on collection so it could only get better I guess with premium unleaded.
