This from a US owner on the FB Macan site, all petrol engines affected, doesn't seem too serious, and says US cars rather than all cars, ours will almost certainly have same fuel pump & filter. I feel a few hours in a Cayman coming along.

A total of 51,497 units of the Porsche Macan are affected by a recall over a fuel leak.

According to Porsche, fine hairline cracks could appear after an extended period of use on the filter flange of the fuel pump on affected vehicles. If the fine hairline cracks do occur, a very small quantity of fuel may seep out, causing a fuel odor. The German automaker is not aware of any incidents reported in actual usage in the field and dealers will inspect the affected vehicles, sealing or replacing the flange as necessary.
