My questions:
- Who know what they are doing?
- Who has the most reliable hardware and processors in the car mounted systems?
- Who picks up the right number of sensor data
- Who gives You a good early high torque curve
- Warranties?

Here are the ones I found.

☹️
The UK forum seems pretty much against the 2.0L (minority decision but fairly vocal,) and tuning chips or bypass boxes are also fairly rare - forum wise - in the UK......

Here in the U.K we have APR and Revo technik who are seen as pretty much the best tuners of the VAG two litre petrol engine. It is an absolutely bullet proof engine and easily tunes to 70 bhp over standard with just the software. Any of the forums for the golf R, Audi S3 or Golf GTi will be able to help and advise

Good luck and keep us posted. Who cares what anyone says on this forum about the 2.0, Porsche provide the vehicle so just live with it.

By far the best tuners are Porsche, get the 3tl or the 3.6

Anyone has ever done any ECU remap here in the UK?

One or two owners have with the diesel variant but cannot remember anyone mentioning upping the 2.0T to 300bhp or so

I ran a 230bhp version of the Golf GTi engine at close to 300bhp for the last 10 years and it was bullet proof and just as economical and driveable as the standard unit when you wanted it to be

Surprised Porsche did not follow suit with the refresh model as other SUV’s on the market have 2.0T 300bhp variations

2 UK tuners you could try (both remaps) are EMaps (highly recommended on the BMW forum) and DMS Automotive. A quick search on Google provides loads of options. I think most people on the forum don't do it because they would be concerned about invalidating their warranty

If I wanted to tune my car, it would be after 10’000km run-in.

I know, modern engines are pre-run-in, but I would want to settle all components, before exposing them to excessive forces.
