Is there anything I can do about it, will Porsche retro fit a new tank?
How many litres will it take to fill from zero on the fuel range remaining? (Beat me to it tracky!)

Just filled up from 40 miles left and I got 63 litres so I guess that means it’s 65 litres

Until the reserve takes up 12 litres which I very much doubt

I'd guess more likely to be 75l. The range remaining always seems to be pessimistic IME, So you maybe had 60 miles left and at 5-6 miles/l that would have given 10-12l remaining.

I’ve only ever managed to squeeze 60 odd litres into my 75 litre tank as I tend to fill as the light comes on (60 miles range remaining)

As above, if the range is reading 40 -50 miles (and it is pessimistic) then the tank still has a couple of gallons left in it. So, 10 odd litres left making a 65 litre top up the max.

If your range was showing as 40 miles then you will have had significantly more than 2 litres of fuel left in the tank.

Drive the car until the range left on the trip computer goes blank (or ——) At this point you’ll have about 3 or 4 litres left in your tank. Fill it up, you should get about 72 litres into it.
I did this last week - unintentionally I may add 😧.

You could get the OPC to print out a full spec from your VIN - they can do that because I have seen it!!😉

Definitely 75 litre. As above, I always fill mine when the light coms on at 60 miles left. The most I have managed is 63 litres and I have the 75 tire tank.

Porsche seem to be very conservative with the remaining range, there's always over 10 litres left when it starts nagging to fill up.

Come on man, you have a 75 litre tank. The trip computer said 40 miles left and you put in 63. Read the book, tech spec says 9-11 litres of reserve!

I have squeezed 72 litres into my petrol S tank (so know it's the 75 L tank) but have yet to achieve 25 mpg. 400 miles to final drop and refill at 380 best so far (in urban driving - not a lot better on the m/way). Is that bad for a turboed 3L petrol engine?

I get 25 MPG in town, and 28 MPG on the open road. I have almost 10,000 mi on the clock, so the engine is run-in.
