Hi all, I know this is not a new subject but it remains confusing! I'm a numpty when it comes to these things...I have no clue what is the difference between OW-30 and SW-30 etc. My engine sticker says "only use SAE OW-30 & Porsche standard C30 engine oil". Yet I read about the recent filter changes that many people seem to think changes the oil requirements from the one mentioned on my sticker?? Then I look on Amazon and they seem to have more than one choice of Mobile 1 OW-30 available anyway...so which do I choose? My OPC has frankly not been that helpful so if there's a simple answer to this question out there I would be eternally grateful...

Thanks in advance!

I should add that the courtesy oil in the boot they provided when I bought the car was OW-20...to add further confusion :)

I would go by the engine sticker.

If you look at the detailed product descriptions on Amazon, choose the one which includes the “Porsche C30” standard.
