Great news, I got a booking last week for a map update next month with Hatfield OPC. Having had online update fail for the last year and finding a number of new roundabouts Very helpful even referring up to Porsche Germany (who have apparently raised a ticket) I believe they authorised in in house update.SAC1 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:02 pmPleased to say that I had the 2019 Sat Nav Europe maps installed today following my OPC's e-message to me that "The memory card is now in stock". It was done free of charge on my May 2017 Macan and did indeed take 2hrs to install. This follows the first update in 2018.SAC1 wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2019 3:37 pm ^_^Thanks to Dandock, I have just had a call back from my OPC to say YES it is available after all. It was not listed by Porsche GB Parts Dept. under "Sat Nav" but "Technical". They have ordered this SD card and will advise me it's in and be able to do the job. Apparently it will take 2 hours to install and it takes a lot of battery power. So needs to be done at their premises.
I will report back once actually successfully installed......

It’s gratifying to see the results of the combined efforts of MOC members. I hope OPCs across the U.K. and Porsche itself appreciate being driven to places they wouldn’t otherwise have gone.

Like Paul, this is the version I have now in both cars:
It took a very long time to persuade the OPC to do it on the Macan, a non Connect car, but persistence paid off in the end. I'd always been assured by the sales exec, having verified with Porsche GB, that I was entitled to three free map updates during the warranty period so to make sure I got them to write that into the sales contract. Pending arrival of the latest 2019 version they did one update which took it from 2017 up to 2017/2018. That earlier version was also run through the 911, which does have Connect Plus, but I was concerned that it had actually reverted the database to an earlier version than the one it was supplied with hence running this latest update on the 911. That now shows all regions as being 'latest version'.
A bit like claiming PPI, the window is closing for those who have non Connect cars still in warranty and who want the latest map version on the PCM.
