Gents

I have just been quoted £544 to add Carplay - does that sound about right? I already have Nav and Voice Control.

I don’t think the dealers know what to charge.

Thanks for that link which I had missed. Based on that it appears a bit steep, I will try some other OPC.

I questioned my OPC and they came down to £430 but another OPC has quoted £305. You do need to shop around!

Yes, I think we paid a very similar amount when we had it added about 3 months ago. Only thing we didn't appreciate at the time is that you need to plug in the phone to get CarPlay. I'd assumed it would have been wireless, as I think they are now in the new cars. Personally I wouldn't have done it but Mrs was very keen.

You can get an adapter for about £100 or less that makes it wireless. Just plugs into the USB port and the phone connects to that.

I had it added last December (2019) with East London Porsche for £305 + VAT.

There is a cheaper alternative and a possibility for Android Auto on PCM4 systems :)
