I normall have my MFD set at Vehicle. When I switch off the ignition and leave the car then come can to it and start the car the MFD is showing the TMP display. Any ideas why the is? And how can I set it to show vehicle each time? Not a big deal just a bit annoying!

Bit of a guess here, but are the tyre pressures correct?

Another guess - with the vehicle menu showing do a ‘save settings to key’ press on the door button.

OK, perhaps a PCM reset will do it. The method will depend on which version PCM you have but basically it's Home or Car button, Set, System, Factory settings (data is retained) or Vehicle Handover (all saved personal data deleted).

Switch on car, set to auto save settings to key, change to vehicle at mfd, switch off car, pull off key (this step might not be needed).

Should then remember the vehicle menu next time, now you can unset the auto save to key if that's not what you want to keep.

It seems that the "auto save settings to key" is not an option in Gen II but just done by default, so mine starts up in Vehicle mode, like it or not!

You said you’d already done a save to key. Auto save does the same thing as the manual steps.
