Hi all ... I have wired carplay. I know this has been covered on here in the past, but question is with the wireless, does it drop connection frequently ?

Looking at this...... but if it drops I;ll stick with wired

I have three in different cars (older version 3.0)

No it never drops the connection. Occasionally it doesn’t start up correctly (doesn’t connect to the phone) but unplugging and plugging fixes this.

Reliable enough imo

Do buy from Amazon. I bought one from China. It failed and no comeback. If it doesn’t work you can easily return to Amazon

Yes .. Amazon Prime without doubt . No issues with returning
