Hi all and a I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Just noticed on our Petrol S with the light comfort pack that the passenger Door Storage LED is RED whereas the drivers, and both rear seat door storage LEDS are all white ?

Comments welcomed. Or am I just having a bad day Tongue
Best David

Is this a warning colour for our friends that drive on the wrong side of the road? When you open the passenger's (driver's) door any traffic approaching from behind will see the red light.
Just my immediate thought.

It's the LED which light's up the front passenger door pocket (under the armrest) . I called Porsche this afternoon and they confirmed all the LEDS should be white. I'm happy to live with it until service time and the fault has been noted on the system.

Lived with the Red LED as it did not cause any problems but we are booked in for the Navigation and software update for PCM / instrument cluster on Wednesday so we'll get the comfort light sorted out at the same time.
Apparently its a dual colour Led ( for different markets) and the led has been inserted the wrong way round or so they advise me, and a simple fix.

Don't you just love how an LED inserted the wrong way is about the most that goes wrong with our superbly engineered Macans ?
I just spent a very enjoyable 45 minutes on the F-Pace Forum reading everything from rattles and vibrations, to shoddy workmanship.

You just don't get these things in a Porsche.

Unfortunately it was not the LED inserted the wrong way round and the correct item and loom had to be ordered.

Been back in today to have the LED and loom replaced, guess what the replacement LED was RED !!!!! The OPC is now going back to Porsche to ask them to do a stock check on that component and are wondering how many other Macans have the wrong colour comfort LED fitted .

As a matter of interest if you have the comfort light pack fitted please check and see that all your door pocket LEDS are white.

Wasn't a wasted day we spent it test driving a 718 Boxster, we will possibly buy a Caymen next but because of the production delays with the Caymen (production transferred to Stuttgart) there was not a 718 Cayman demo available.

As we were waiting a transporter with 6 Macans turned up and offload 4 at my OPC.

They also had 8 used ( preowned) Macans for sale 6 diesels, 1 turbo and 1 2.0 petrol
