Hi,

Did anyone manage to sort out the dodgy radio graphics please? Mine is fine for a couple but terrible for the others.

Thanks,

Nick

Mine has been in for investigation, the software was all the latest version so Porsche Germany advise that they replace part of the dashboard wiring harness. Have had to wait for that but the car comes back today. Will keep you posted, my dealer was not too confident this would fix it, but it's a start. Only downside to them having the car a week was that my courtesy car was a Merc C220d 😟. I'll be having a close look at how the dash has been replaced.

I've also had the latest software update - made no difference to the dodgy radio graphics. I too got Mercedes-Benz C as courtesy car!

Which OPC is going to check wiring, not been mentioned at mine as a possible solution?
Very interested in the outcome, looking forward to reading this.

I fear this might be another one of those Porsche problems, e.g. sunblind fault, outdated Google Earth and no future updates from Google for Macan, where Porsche have no solution or intention of resolving them. I feel sorry for the OPC guys who are stuck in the middle with these problem, having to demonstrate positive commitment to its customers knowing Porsche are letting us down and there's not much the OPC can do about it.

Think I'm glad I've got the old PCM and none of these expectations.

It was Nottingham that replaced the wiring harness. Time will tell if it's fixed it as the problem had only happened twice in two months. I had a good look around the dash when the car was returned and it showed no signs or marks from the work and no rattles or anything so I'm pleased with the care taken, plus the car was fully valeted too so that was a bonus.
I'll post periodic updates.

The problem is back, monochrome display again, the wiring harness change didn't cure it, it's been back with the dealer for over a week now. Called the dealer for an update and they have now changed out most of the dashboard, the change was complete late in the day so they want to run some diagnostics and if ok their MD lives not far from me so he will drop it off on his way home tomorrow (Friday) and swop it for the Cayenne S courtesy car. Hopefully this will fix it, but as it's intermittent, only time will tell. If it fails their diagnostic checks tomorrow it's going to be awkward as I'm off to the TT next week so the Cayenne will be in an airport car park for a week or so!
