Talking to an acquaintance of mine this morning, it would seem as if windscreen companies are now investing in equipment to carry out camera recalibration post windscreen change.....

Presumably other screen replacement companies will follow suit (or already have done) making the current arguments with insurance companies over additional costs and visits to the dealership a thing of the past. (Let's just hope the glass fitters are sufficiently trained up to use the kit properly)

mine done 4 weeks ago by national windscreen, all fine

Maybe I didn't neet to bother going to the OPC for my windscreen then. Mind you, I bet national windscreens didn't lend you a new Panamera for the day!

when i was phoning around none of the OPC replaced screens, always brought in third party to take car away and replace in there own workshop.

no Panamera but only paid 30% of excess as they could not do on the day i wanted, so happy with that
