Had the PCM software updated last week to help solve my DAB memory problem, Reading OPC told me it had literally just been released whilst my car was with them overnight, so assume it's the latest available. Here are a couple of photos of the software version for reference

👍
Useful.....perhaps you could edit the post title to add “ November 2017” for ease of search in the future?😃

So has this update fixed the annoying 'default to Heart FM' issue?

I'm assuming you have to go to Porsche for the update and it can't be done at home via Wi-Fi? If so, do they charge? BMW always used to.

Thanks

Thank you, JK88!

Last Saturday, when my car went in for it's first oil service to OPC Guildford, I was told by them that there was no PCM udate available.
And if there was it would cost me £360 to have it installed.

It is rather frustrating how the information varies across the network. :?

So, I give up, don't need the latest really, as long as the music / radio plays and the maps work.

+1 I was told the same thing last week - except for the £360 bit! And feel the same way.

Indeed it has, now always starts up with the last station you were listening to. Bliss!

No charge as covered by warranty and they were very apologetic that it had taken so long to get a resolution. Noticed a couple of minor changes with the update such as a volume slider graphic appears on the PCM when you change volume and the nav scale shows yards instead of meters.

Try Reading and see if you get a better answer (although I believe they are part of the same group). Paul Brizell is the Service Advisor I dealt with thre and I found him extremely helpful.

Thank you JK88, I will try them. In fact, I bought this car from Reading back in July as an approved used vehicle.

Volume slider graphic is very handy addition indeed.
