He actually lists that one as a Tequipment kit. No harm in emailing your VIN to him an seeing what he says - I would tend to trust an answer from this 'CarPlay' specialist more than a Porsche OPC!

Seriously, If I'm going to hang on to my current car - which I almost certainly will - then this would look like the only route (excuse pun) to take.

To at least sound them out seems like the first move. Who was OPC?

Tonbridge.

I think its £306 at all dealers - not specific to certain dealers.

Thanks. I’ll try my guys at Tewkesbury. It could be a marriage-saver 🤭😂 as Heidi has caused and continues to cause, how shall I put it, err.. some debate!

Had quote for CarPlay from Tewkesbury

“We can indeed now retro fit car play to your vehicle. The total inclusive cost for this is £516.00”

Seems a bit expensive when compared to figures already mentioned!

Also as Kitty has PCM4 they can update Nav foc.

Point them in the direction of the tequipment website Mike.
Providing you’ve got the voice control button and Nav, they need to explain where the additional £200 come from!

I recently purchased the pcm 3.1 apple carplay box from nmautomotive on Guernsey to have installed in my 16S. The unit works very well. I'm using an ibolt charge connect to plug my iphone into and the new software boots carplay up as soon as your phone is plugged into the usb connection. There's a gentleman from London who posted his installation of that unit on youtube. There is no tequipment carplay upgrade for pcm 3.1, it's only for pcm 4.0.
