Hi Nick. Yes, my thoughts exactly. I think I could do worst than phone Bristol and see what they have to say.

I emailed Tewkesbury about two hours ago asking for the System Information details but have not heard a sound since! Do you think if I lodged a Letter of Intent for a Mission E it might motivate them to provide a better service?
Maybe better a LoI on an Audi e-Tron!

Mark was the service advisor I dealt with at Bristol, but the others should be up to speed on this too. I got my update done, finally, just before the end of the warranty period when updates are/were free. Good luck, I hope you get this sorted.
😂😂

Thanks for the contact. I emailed my CP about 30 mins ago with before and after pics - they are identical apart from the angle and the exposure - and now await his response.

Time for a large glass of wine me thinks.

Dandock, Perhaps you send Tewksbury the photos with the 2019 screen shot that Paul and I previously posted! We have both used Dick Lovatt OPCs in their Bumuda triangle

Yes SAC1! I intend to do that subject to the response I receive from their CP. I might also copy them the relevant Forum link.

I have consistently referred them to their sisters: whether they’ve spoken to them I know not. But I do suspect a certain level of unhealthy rivalry.

SAC1. I spoke with Steve which was, to an extent, very reassuring. I’ve now emailed Tewkesbury and suggested that should they be encountering difficulties that they speak with the man who knows.

Almost a week on and I’ve heard nothing. Words fail me!

One thing that did come out of my conversation was that the current and the previous updates, actually and unbelievably, have the same part number.

Now that’s sensible!!!

That's true, except that the key difference is the suffix, which for the 2019 update is AL. So the correct part number is 9P1.909.000.AL

Thanks Nick. I’ll pass that on - should they ever respond! But you might imagine they’d know that.

Went to Swindon and met Duncan who was very helpful. He’d took Kitty away to undertake the upgrade but sometime later came back and said it wouldn’t take!

So we left. Anyway he phoned a short time later to say he’d stumbled upon a new part number so will phone me next week when it comes in.

To be continued...

😂😂 Or it might be easier to simply trade it in for a new one! 😱

There was a BEAUTIFUL Night Blue 911 Carrera S Cabriolet in the showroom. Mrs D was most impressed. 😳

... so... It appears as if there is little or no information available from Porsche - even in Germany. And although there is a part number listed there is no supplementary information given or available as there is with ‘normal’ part numbers.

One theory - or maybe more - is that when Macan was developed it was imagined that buyers would by default buy Connect. And so no plan was created for normal mortals.
