It's a shame Porsche don't rob Audi's parts bin. Audi connect with Google maps, including satalthe view is excellent and always up to date.

D' I've given up with mine at present. Last Thursday, OPC said the parts man would try and find the update. Saying the part no. ending 000.AL was not a part no. And there was a definite cost. So I may as well wait a while, but I've not heard from them with a update found, anyway.
 I feel it's a real minefield.

At the Porsche Sports Car Day at our OPC on Sunday I spoke to the SA who has been researching this over the recent past and he undertook to order the new CD/USB when he was due back at work yesterday. I'll give him a day or two then call him if I haven't heard anything.

They have ordered this SD card and will advise me it's in and be able to do the job. Apparently it will take 2 hours to install and it takes a lot of battery power. So needs to be done at their premises.

I will report back once actually successfully installed......
Pleased to say that I had the 2019 Sat Nav Europe maps installed today following my OPC's e-message to me that "The memory card is now in stock". It was done free of charge on my May 2017 Macan and did indeed take 2hrs to install. This follows the first update in 2018.
