I seem to be getting drop outs & garbled music occasionally whilst streaming to my pcm 4.0.
I’ve forgotten the Bluetooth connection and re-joined but no luck.
I’m running the latest iOS13.2 which since 13 has reduced the frequency of drop outs, but it is still occasional and annoying me.
Just wondered if I’m alone with this.
Google land seems full of people complaining about Bluetooth since iOS11 but this is my first issue.
One suggestion is de-select the “copy contacts” option in iOS. Doing this will remove my call logs from the car. So I’ve not tried it yet.
Just wanted a fellow Porsche perspective.
Cheers

No issues here with the phone / contacts but I don’t use bluetooth for music; I either hard wire or use an SD card with my i-tune library on it.

I have an SD card too, but Spotify is my preferred music provider and it’s just so convenient to stream. I’m aware I can use CarPlay but sometimes I just hop in the car & drive and forget to plug the phone into the arm rest.
I can also use amazon through the connected app as I am a prime subscriber, but the UI is clunky and the free prime service has a limited music library.
Not sure if this Bluetooth issue is also causing phone call issues too, but as you are relying on a mobile signal proving it would be a nightmare.
Just interested to know if this is device specific, OS specific or I need a software update on the PCM.
I’m a belligerent so and so and will get to the bottom of this.
