can someone advise how the heated windscreen works? In other cars I pressed a button but I can't see that option in my car even though I selected the option when I configured the car?

the only thing stated on the configurator is "
"The windscreen is heatable for quick and draught-free removal of condensation and frost when the outside temperatures are cold"
Not much help at all

From page 48 of the 2019 Macan Owner's Manual (I couldn't copy the symbols and hence have described the buttons, which are located in the climate control section of the centre console) :
Vehicles with windshield heating also have a strip of metal foil in the windshield. The windshield can therefore be heated to prevent it from frosting over and fogging up.
Press button (curved or front windscreen heater symbol)
– or –
Press button (Rectangular or rear window demist button)
The light indicator on the button lights up.
The windshield is heated.
The windshield is demisted or defrosted as quickly as possible.
Depending on the outside temperature, windshield heating switches off automatically after approx. 15 minutes.
The heated windscreen option is only available for the new (2019, with full width back-light) Macan

So basically it’s the de-mist button!
It would be interesting to know how much faster it is compared to standard, probably not much I’d imagine

I have a Land Rover with heated windscreen. It's very quick and effective. However, I find that sunlight reflections on the tiny filaments in the screen can be visually distracting.Fusion1966 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 8:02 pm So basically it’s the de-mist button!
