Apple CarPlay

I’m new to my 2016 Macan, having only acquired at the weekend and working my way through the functions. However I am struggling to get Apple CarPlay to display using my iPhone 6. I’ve connected it via Bluetooth to make calls etc and also connected it via the USB cable but neither seem to display the apps. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you actually got apple play (probably an obvious question - but it was not standard in 2016, only a dealer fit option)

Thanks that is a good question. I perhaps wrongly assumed it was standard. It is a Dec 2016 vehicle. I will check with the dealer after Christmas.

Just checked my order details for my GTS which was delivered Dec 16, I paid extra for Connect Plus I think it was included in that option but not sure.
