Hello!

I’m looking at a well specced 2017 or lesser specced 2018. If I retrofit CarPlay to the 2017 what other tech features will I be missing from 2018. I understand 2018 has a bigger screen and car play as standard but is there other new features? I tried to find a comparison online but it wasn’t clear

Thanks!

My June 2017 Macan has Apple Car play. I believe it was standard from model year 2017. Someone else may be able to confirm.

The Gen 2 Macan was introduced for MY 2019. Externally it has LED headlights as standard and has a full width rear light bar. Inside it has the wide screen with the air vents below [rather than to each side of] the screen. Initially MY 2019 was introduced with the 2.0 and 3.0S petrol engine. The Turbo [2.9 petrol engine] was introduced in the second half of 2019.
