So, I had been stuck out in Hong Kong working since the beginning of March and only arrived back yesterday.
The Macan has been sat in the drive, unused and unloved since then. Not plugged into any battery conditioner, just sat there gathering dust & cobwebs.
Anyway I slowly walked towards the drivers door in the hope it would at least open which it did.
Then with a turn of the key, the engine turned over ever so slightly less vigorous than 12 weeks ago but it burst into life.
I was very surprised and impressed. I thought I would be using Porsche Assist to come help me but alas no.
At least I can get the 911 out the garage now as it’s booked in for its service and MOT this week to put it back on the road (SORN since end of October)
Anyone else left their Macan longer without start issues on their return???
Battery Life, quite surprised, in a good way

Not as long as you. But my SD stood outside from 24 March until 13 April. It started first time and did a 12 mile round trip. Ditto on 30 April. Then on SORN for the month of May. Started first time yesterday when the dealer arranged to take it away on the p/ex.

Lots of anguish and anecdotes about leaving cars....many of my old stock used cars would stand for weeks on end (disappointingly!) without turning the key...and fire up first turn of the key

The OP’s experience highlights the effectiveness of the Porsche battery saving technology. Many modern high tech cars drain their batteries quite quickly.

It instills a little more confidence if i have to leave it for long periods of time nonetheless. Not sure I would leave the 911 without a battery optimiser though. I’m ‘guessing’ the battery for the diesel motors are a bit stronger
