The start is optional and will add a 'beep' every time you get near a speed camera, whether of not the map is displayed. It's quite useful but beeps at EVERY POI so for best effect I'd recommend disabling other POIs

To add notifications of POIs:

Press Map
Press the Opt button
Select SET MAP

Then Notices

Then Point of interest proximity warnings

'Tick' both boxes. NB warning will sound at every POI not just cameras so possibly better to disable most in Configure points of interest

Will be trying this on my 992 (not that I would need to know where speed cameras are located of course.....)
