SD, 19 months, 12.5k miles, black tips, no corrosion.

I've mentioned this before, but my car rarely gets washed and when it does, I coat the tips with silicone spray - seems to work?

Hi All

Just got word back from OPC they don't cover tips on extended warranty and they want £996 to change them !
So I expect I am gossed nowhere to go now just have to live with them.

Has anybody any ideas how I could progress on the matter !

No they won’t cover them on ext warranty which is nothing like the new car warranty coverage, primarily covers only major elements of the vehicle. Wouldn’t waste your time progressing my second pair have gone the same way as the previous, so l just live with it as most of the time they are dirty anyway 🤕😉

As I mentioned earlier, there is always the option of having them coated yourself, with one of the coatings on the market. A lot cheaper than having to replace them.
