Does anybody know how to remove the front indicator strip on a 2014 Macan S?
I have a replacement unit, but I can't get the original one off the car. Internet searches haven't turned up anything specific enough. I found one where it appeared that I might get at it by removing a wheel and the flap inside the wheel well. I did this, but still can't get to the unit. Another video about replacing headlight bulbs lead me to removing the plastic covers inside the engine compartment. That allows access to the headlamp, but not the indicator unit, which sits underneath it.
There are no obvious clips on the new unit. Does it just pull out?
Thanks in advance.

Do you mean the strip lights underneath the headlights? You need to remove the front bumper (or apron as Porsche call it).
Only the side markers can be removed via the front wheel liners.

Yes, it is the strip light. Remove the bumper? That's not what I wanted to hear, but it's not a surprise really.
Thanks for the link to the service manual.

Yes, remove the front apron, there are one or two screws and two clips and then it pulls out.

Thanks. I'll give it a try next week - when it gets a bit warmer!
