Has anybody had a sticker for a front number plate instead of the usual plate?
Not sure if it would look good or not? Not even sure if it would be possible with the Macan bumpers?

I've seen a few Caymans and 911s with them and it looks good on those models.

As you say, I’m not quite sure where it would legally go and look decent.

Maybe a cut down one would be better ?

I'd just been on 246 for the first time in ages and there were a few posts about different plates, just got me wondering. I've seen custom plates for the rear that would copy the shape of the bumper cut out, but didn't know if anyone had done anything different for the front.

I was just interested to see what it would look like if it was possible.

Not sure about anything other than the standard for a Macan. You can get a range of sizes but best to stay legal, although you can personalise further. I use the company below, great service and a great product, have purchased a number of sets with no issues.

Ha ha, yeah, I remember when they first came out. I wouldn't bother trying anything other than legal. I used to make my own number plates through work, but the machine was then moved to a different depot.
I guess the reason I haven't seen anything different from standard on a Macan speaks for itself!

Think I've got "waiting for a new car" syndrome.
Been checking on best garage floor paint, got a load of new detailing stuff ordered even though my cupboards are full of the stuff. Oh, and looking at new storage for the garage. Wife is well impressed with me at the moment cause I've not really sorted anything for our bedroom that's being gutted next month.

If you have a gander at the no. plate reg's. It's a bit of a minefield, but it is easy to understand. It gives all sizes, fonts and dimensions, but it does not mention the need to have a flat surface. I have a four digit no. plate on my other car. And it's got a shorter width, so it complies with the regs, but looks far more neater, and it's got a gentle curve to follow the profile of the front end, as the Macans do anyway. So it would appear that it's possible to have a sticker, with curves on it. But personally I think a flat surface, on plastic is neater.

Not sure if you'll have seen, but Fourdot number plates are pretty popular with certain car YouTubers.. https://www.fourdotdesignerplates.co.uk/. Their zero plates look nice for short registrations (and are legal) however it'd require a cutdown plinth for the front..
