Hi all
Does anyone know if its plug and play to replace the 12v socket in the centre console rear trim with a genuine USB socket?
The two fittings look similar with push in fit but I’m not sure on the connectors

Thanks Mike , that’s a very clever mod , I was thinking more of the 12v socket on the rear trim for rear passengers, I see that later cars have a double USB socket but a plug in socket would work there as well

The double USB sockets in the rear passenger area are power only for device charging.

Exactly correct , so the little adapter will work perfectly
