OMG I've just shelled out £66K for this car and now need to get some double-sided sticky tape
Creaks and clunks
The Macan is such a quiet car to be in that maybe the odd noise inside is more easily heard? I noticed the dashboard 'buzz' mentioned above as soon as I drove it out of the showroom but found it and cured it quite easily. The only other noise is the bonnet sometimes clunks as the chassis flexes as the car turns into our cul-de-sac. Am hoping to have that cured with the 'rubber' hinge covers mentioned by 'woody' earlier but Sheffield OPC deny knowledge at the moment?

My Turbo's at the dealership over Christmas! I hope there's company there for her and Santa knows where she is!
They're trying to find a very elusive rattle/creak from my rear end . It's difficult to reproduce but happens regularly, usually it seems when the suspension compresses slightly or flexes over a dip in the road. It's happened since new but I think it's a tad worse now. They've had the car since Monday and are trying very hard to pin it down but no success yet. Anyone else had something similar that has been fixed?
I also asked them to take a look at the overhead console. On poor surfaces, e.g. coarse Tarmac, there's a rattle or 'buzz' which stops with light hand pressure over the console. Maybe something inside or even a loose button or two.
They will continue to work on it on return from Christmas break next Wednesday. In the meantime I'm in a 718 Boxter. Fun, but rather different from the Macan, which I'm missing now!

So no-one else has had noises from their rear end then?
Still no news from the dealership and I'm in the Boxter 'til at least 5th Jan. I could have done with four wheel drive and winter tyres down in Devon first thing this morning!

Thanks B737NGWS. The tech I took out for a test drive thought it might be the tailgate so I think that's where they were going to start. But they haven't fixed it yet......

Are you sure it is not tailgate moving as chassis twists? Ours did it initially but made tiny adjustments to bump stops and put some PTFE lube on touching plastic parts and that cured it.
Do you mean those round plastic wedge type things and the matching adjustable bit on the tailgate?
