I have noticed the last couple of days what I would call 'quite a lot' of condensation in lights even on a hot car. Have others seen this and is it normal, I appreciate Bristol has been flooded but I have not be throught it! This affects both lights and has formed droplets leaving marks inside the lens.
Condensation in headlights
Perfectly normal Ferdie, (I think it even says so in the manual..... )
Its someting that's been discussed on tne forum in the past too so you're not alone. It soon goes when the lights are on and you've bern driving for a bit.

I have been having this also on my LED lights but its not going away - it needs the outside temp to raise before it goes..... might have to make a call to OPC...

That's good to know I'll check the manual but it is more than I expect, there are water droplets which I am guessing will leave marks. It had hour of lights on just before, the SE said Xeons are cool and may not clear it, but now it is parked residual heat is clearing it. Seems the Xeons/ LEDs are not in a very sealed units.
They are getting back to me in morning on if it is excessive

The units are not sealed, they are vented to 'ports' under the front bumper :)

That certainly helps explain it and the trip down the M5 in torrential rain early this week did not help. They have cleared 80% now, but a little bit poor.

Wouldn't worry about it, mine are like that every morning in this damp weather. Trouble with the LED's are that they give off little heat. Mine clear in about half an hour though and they don't affect the visibility from the headlights.

Good point about the LEDs and no heat.....hadn't thought about that!

Great forum outcome - I am much less concerned now and as long as there is no water staining I shall not chase DL. I will feed back any response (when it comes).
With the power output they have I do think the Xeons and LEDs will be quite hot in themselves (i.e. don't touch!) but low heating output compared to halogens so little to no heat will get to the front of the lens covers where the condensation starts. Interesting yours clear within 30 mins Phil I will check that out.
Thanks chaps, D
