Door definitely shut, confirmed on CCTV, and another Macan with same issue? I thought it may have been a mor common issue hence the post.

The drain for the roof / sunroof does go down through the A pillar, that's exactly what they thought it may be, however they haven't been able to replicate the issue ....as yet.

If they do I'll post the result to the forum for anyone else that may have the same problem in the future.

After all 2 cars in the dealership at the same time with the same issue sounds like a common problem to me! I don't believe in coincidence;)Eclipse2016-12-15 18:00:13

There have been other roof leaks.

I know of two Pano leaks, two leaks from roof bars (one of which was badly fitted and loose), and one leak from a door seal on another forum and none were on any UK cars.

I cannot remember any leaks on this forum, but there was one which had the potential to leak due to roof bars not being secured properly.

No leaks from my SDIESEL macan or my current Turbo both with panoramic roof and 38kmiles and over 2 years of many wet Welsh days/nights bad luck that.

Ash trees near our home produce small seeds that block drain holes on our cars. Need to occasionally use thin gauge wire to clear. Maybe or not?

Good tip B737 does it work on builders arteries

Funny you should ask that Jon.

Read an article the other day where cardiac surgeons have developed a proceedure where they basically insert a tube with a pipe cleaner on the inside.. They take the tip of the tube to the location of the blockage in the artery and push out the pipe cleaner to move the blockage and then they suck out the debris via the inserted tube.

ps
No liability will be accepted for any DIY proceedure being undertaken
